SASSCO POS Customers can now chat live in real time with Support Technicians

If you’re a SASSCO customer and in need of technical support help, the company has released a new state-of-the-art software where you can chat live, in real-time, with a SASSCO support representative.

Background


SASSCO is a software developer company based in North Sydney, the biggest point of sale software developer in Australia, and has 2 branches in North Sydney and Melbourne. The company has over 1,100 customers Australia-Wide and customers in other countries such as Canada, United Kingdom, Dubai and Japan.

The main programs designed by SASSCO are: SASSCO Front and Back office (point of sale), Head Office, Kitchen Bump Screen, Waiter POS, Online Ordering (iTakeOut), Online Booking and POS Reports App for iPhone and Android. The latest update for SASSCO Front Office version 3.2.0 now comes with an additional (free) program: SASSCO POS Support. The software installs by default on your Desktop and works only on Windows. Double click the icon to launch the software, it will check your Internet connection then direct you to the screen where you can send requests and chat in real time with technicians who are available to help 7 days a week between 8am and 10pm (Saturday 11pm).



How to use SASSCO Support


On the homescreen of the application, click Start New Chat button (Top right), then enter your text in the textbox below and click Send. Wait a few moments for a reply from a technician. Keep chatting until your support representative closes the chat conversation and marks it as solved.

Other features


Although the ability to chat live is the main feature of the new software application, other features include the ability to view previously archived chats, buy your thermal paper rolls, request a call back or an onsite visit. There is a fixed fee for a callback and onsite visit. At the moment of writing this article the fees were $79.00 and $330.00 respectively.

Finally, when your yearly technical support expires, SASSCO Support will notify you in the top section (right) to renew your subscription. Yearly technical support is optional with SASSCO and is set to $220 per year. Use the links on the software to make payments online securely using your credit card
